HAVING started DJ-ing whilst at school, Simon Sazz has the charisma and knowledge of what the listener wants. Growing up around seasoned DJs like Zed, Michael T, and Sammy T, gave him the platform to show his DJ-ing talents. | |

Whilst with Black Giant Sound System, Simon was noticed by Saxon Sound from the UK who were visiting Zimbabwe then. They invited him over to the UK and he has just gone from strength to strength. Simon sazz has been on a number of radio stations around the UK so has all the ingredients for each and every listener.
I grew up in Greendale in the heart of Harare and started DJ-ing with Michael T. From a young age, I always knew that music was a big part of my life. Every weekend I would go to shows with Michael T and I couldn't have learnt from a better DJ.
It was while I was with Michael T at Rumours Niteclub that I first met Zed the Prez. As I was a border at Allan Wilson school, each weekend I would either spend it with Zed who allowed me to DJ with him.
After school I hooked up with Cedric Steel and joined the famous Black Giant Sound which was known as one of the big sounds in Zimbabwe. Whilst with Black Giant, Saxon Sound from the UK visited Zimbabwe and they were so impressed by me that they invited me to come over to the UK to play with them. Since then I have been around the world with them touring places like Kingston in Jamaica and St Lucia.
DJ-ing is the best job for me and I love it. Knowing that I'm making some people's life happy through music is a blessing. As long as I'm around, I will keep churning out tune after tune for the listeners.
Simon Sazz, the DJ who's heart is in music.
